Mr. Skokos, conveying the climate of the pandemic from the big American city, said that now with the Omicron mutation there is a panic, as the virus is transmitted very easily and most people take precautionary measures. Of course, as he said, there are also the negative ones, as in Greece, who do not comply.

As he said in all the interiors the entrance is done only with a vaccination certificate and most of them wear a mask.

The Greek musician is the one who wrote the composition for the US tourism campaign that is heard at the airports and as he said: “I always wanted to come to America and write music for movies and documentaries. I try to make my dream come true humbly. It’s very difficult because there are so many good composers and people need to know. “Unfortunately, with the coronavirus, the entertainment industry has virtually closed its doors and now it is starting again timidly.”

The composer wished happy birthday to all Greeks.

Antonis Skokos has collaborated as a composer and conductor with leading Greek musicians and singers such as Marinella, Plessa, Pario, Christos Danti, Pano Mouzouraki, George Chatzinassio, Mitropano, Glykeria, Miliokas, Remou, Rouva, Rouva, Rouva, Rouva, Rouva , Schina, Kiamo, Pantazi, Karra, and others.

For the last 30 years he has been working steadily in Europe, as an orchestrator, pianist, composer and conductor. He studied in Paris with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation for 8 years and graduated from four different music universities and received all his music diplomas with Excellence and a gold award. In France, he collaborated with Nikos Alliagas on his album, as a composer, pianist and orchestrator.

From a very young age, he received artistic stimuli since his father was a drummer in Formix, of which Vangelis Papathanassiou was also a member, whom Papathanassiou considers Antonis his musical father. Although Antonis started studying classical music, as a true lover of music he did not remain stagnant, he studied and later wrote and orchestrated Jazz, pop, neo classical and other types of music.

Many of the music albums in which Antonis Skokos has participated as a producer, composer, orchestrator and pianist, have acquired platinum, platinum and gold titles. The list to date includes 7 gold albums, 4 platinum and 2 multi-platinum.

He has also worked in television in various TV shows as a conductor and orchestrator such as in the show of Andreas Mikroutsikos “You will say a song”, in the music nights of SKAI entitled “Amstel Live”, in the show of Anna Drouza with title “The best” and has collaborated with Nikos Mastorakis in the show “12”.

Having natural talent, open mind and good character, Antonis believed and believes that music has no borders and nationality and decided to travel to Southern California and specifically to Los Angeles where for the last 3 years he has been composing music for movies and television.

One of his great loves is to write music for movies. Already, some of her films have made music, which have already won awards at various international film festivals. You are currently working with Emmy Award-winning Cindy Cowan and Oscar-nominated Mark Walper, a Warner Brothers producer and shareholder who has also been nominated for an 8-time Emmy. Also, from the first moment he moved to Los Angeles, he collaborated with Paul Mirkovic and “The Voice,” where he orchestrated some of The Voice’s tracks.

The pandemic did not discourage him, he continued to compose and create music and his patience and perseverance bore fruit since you are already working on various productions.
