The prime minister wants to go to the elections, with the Greek people in complete darkness, Mr. Androulakis says in his statement
The president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, accuses the government and the prime minister of brutal abuse of the institutions, on the occasion of Dogiakou’s opinion on the AIAEA, alleging an intention to cover up the wiretapping case.
The prime minister wants to go to the elections, with the Greek people in total darkness, Mr. Androulakis says in his statement: “The prime minister and the government are brutally abusing the institutions on the altar of cover-up. They do not allow an honest judge, Mr. Rammo, who heads an independent Authority, created to have institutional counterweights in our democracy, to do his job and continue the investigation.
This is because the prime minister wants to go into the upcoming elections with the Greek people completely in the dark about the real findings of this sick case.
I said from the beginning that this wiretapping story is not a personal matter. It is a question of democracy, it is a question concerning institutions, the rule of law, the separation of powers.
And above all, it concerns the struggle of many generations of Greeks to bring democracy to our homeland.
As a Democratic Party, we will not allow this slide to continue, which Kyriakos Mitsotakis is imposing on the country, exposing it internationally.
