The six Turkish parties agree to mutually respect “the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries, especially our neighbors”

• We will follow a foreign policy which will respect international law and be based on universal values, we will mutually respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries, especially our neighbors, we will not interfere in their internal affairs and will uphold the principles of peaceful settlement of disputes through diplomacy and dialogue as the basis of our policy.
• We will put an end to practices based on internal political calculations and ideological approaches to foreign policy.
• Our goal is full integration into the European Union. – We will work to complete the process of full integration within the framework of dialogue, justice and equality.
• We will prioritize and complete the visa liberalization process for EU countries.
• We will revise the 2014 Readmission Agreement and the Agreement of 18 March 2016, moves that will allow Turkey and the EU to approach the refugee problem with shared responsibility and burden-sharing.
• As a founding member of the Council of Europe and based on the mandate of our Constitution, iWe comply with the European Convention on Human Rights and other legal texts of the Council and we will implement the decisions of the ECtHR.
• NATO is extremely important in terms of deterrence and its contribution to our national security.
• We will continue our contributions to NATO mbased on logic and taking into account our national interests.
• We will restore relations with our neighbors and whatcountries in the immediate vicinity and we will take the cooperation to the most advanced and developed level.
• We will lead multilateral initiatives that will improve peace, stability and cooperation in Turkey’s neighboring geography.
• We will strengthen the Organization of Turkish States.
• We will respect the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries of the region, we will not interfere in their internal affairs and we will “facilitate solutions” rather than “taking sides” in each other’s problems.
• We will prevent the isolation of Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean and we will prioritize achieving results through multiple negotiation processes for the delimitation of maritime jurisdictions and for the equitable distribution of hydrocarbon resources.
• Cyprus is our national affair. In order to find a just and permanent solution to the Cyprus problem, we will pursue as goals the protection of the acquired rights of the “TRDBC” and the “Turkish”Cypriots’ and ensuring the dominant political equality of the two communities.
• The Aegean should be considered a place of peace, cooperation and good neighborliness. We will work towards achieving this goal and will not allow any development that may harm our domains of sovereignty in the Aegean Sea.
• We will resolve outstanding issues between Turkey and Greece through diplomacy, dialogue and result-oriented negotiations, based on international law and equity, without compromising Turkey’s national interests.
• We will put relations with the US on an institutional basisby consensus among equals, and we will promote an alliance relationship based on mutual trust.
• We will make efforts to return Turkey to the F-35 program.
