The meeting at the Maximos Palace under the Prime Minister, in the presence of Sotiris Tsiodras and the Minister of Health Thanos Plevris, was completed earlier, and the decision for the package of measures to take effect from Thursday morning at 6 o’clock was taken. According to information, the measures will be the same as those announced for January 3, with the possibility that they will be strengthened with new measures.
The exception for the measures so far seems to be New Year’s Eve, with the New Year’s Eve lasting until 2 in the morning, while it is possible that the script will ban music.
Otherwise on the table remain restaurants, bars and clubs to close at 12, to prohibit standing and tables to accommodate up to six people.
In the stadiums the fullness will reach 10% with a maximum number of spectators per thousand people, despite the reactions of the clubs. Teleworking is projected to increase by up to 50% in the public and private sectors. While double mask, or high protection mask, will be applied in supermarkets, Public Transport and restaurant workers. In any case, all this is already on the table of the experts who are currently meeting, and there is always the possibility of proposing new measures.
In a short time, the official announcements will be made by the Minister of Health.
