In the first hours after the earthquake, the Greek Prime Minister had expressed his sadness on Twitter, noting that “Greece is mobilizing its resources and will help immediately”.
The Prime Minister’s tweet reads: “Deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake devastation in Turkey and Syria. Our deepest condolences go out to the families of the victims and our thoughts are with all the people affected. Greece is mobilizing its resources and will help immediately.”
