First, the citizen must install through the iOS and Android platforms for mobile devices and tablets the new version of the Covid Free GR Wallet application and then start the process of issuing the document by entering the Taxisnet or web banking codes (provided that the corresponding bank account in web banking codes is updated). In fact, he spoke about the great response that the application had, pointing out that “here there is a great symbolism in relation to the passage from one era to another, even with something so extremely simple”.
Mr. Pierrakakis clarified that the identity card in this application is used exclusively for the identification of the vaccination certificate and added that citizens will be able to have the identity card on their mobile phone and for other services. “We aim at the end of the first quarter of 2022 to have the biggest part of this work, surely before Easter we will have seen these changes in terms of new identity and in terms of driving license,” he stressed. .
