“There are uneventful parties – SYRIZA does not respect institutional progress” said PASOK MP Andreas Loverdos
“We all know that it is a matter of days before the announcement of the elections and the dissolution of the Parliament, we count only a few Sundays,” the PASOK – KINAL MP pointed out speaking to the Thessaloniki radio station Status 107.7 Andreas Loverdos, stressing that it is a key issue for PASOK to refute the polls and “go very strong”.
At the same time, when asked about the election result of his party and the possibility of needing a second round at the ballot box, Mr. Loverdos underlined:
“If on the first Sunday we don’t have very big forces, the second Sunday as we usually call it, we mean the second elections, they threaten us. But if we secure very large forces from the first Sunday, the second Sunday will be something related to the first.”
“This threatens us, of course it threatens us. What am I; Crazy; I can not see it; I’m not in a constituency? I do not have any experience; All this I have, and because I have it, I fight with all my strength” said Mr. Loverdos characteristically.
The PASOK – KINAL MP also referred to the scenarios of post-election collaborations, simultaneously launching an attack on SYRIZA, pointing out that “there are asymptotic parties in politics. You cannot, say, think of co-governments with parties with which you have nothing to do, or they have nothing to do with you, no matter how much you propose to them. So we have the numbers of simple analogy, which allow these discussions that you are having, but we also have the political truths of simple analogy like the positions of the parties which also create data, but this time I want to be subtle and very clear, there are deviations that cannot be ignored”.
“How can we not take into account the institutional positions of SYRIZA; Here we have a party which in no way respects institutional progress. An institutional progress that was produced in Greece with pain and tears and blood. He does not respect the independence of the judiciary, interferes, threatens… Threaten your political opponents? After 5 years of yours in power? I believe that this party, due to the institutional axes of their politics, is not a progressive party” said the MP.
