The citizens “recognize the effort that the government has made, in the face of these unprecedented crises, they recognize the consistency of words and works with regard to the exercise of economic policy before the elections and they recognize that with this government there is stability, there is seriousness, methodical and there is security for citizens,” he said Finance Minister Christos Staikouras in Heraklion speaking at the annual meeting of D.E.E.P. Mr. Staikouras noted that “slowly we are unfolding the plan for the next four years, setting the clear dilemmas of the upcoming polls and the electoral contest” while regarding Crete, he noted that the economy is at a good level and this is not only because of the good tourist season that preceded it, but also the support from the government.
