Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Deny Suing ‘South Park’ Creators

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have denied through their spokesman that they intend to sue the creators of the cartoon. South Park.

An episode of the series, entitled Privacy World Tourfeatures two characters who bear a resemblance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who embark on an international tour to demand privacy.

The couple’s publicist told celebrity People magazine that “frankly, it’s all nonsense. Totally baseless, tedious stuff.”

The 22-minute episode aired last week and centers on a red-haired character and his wife who move to South Park, Colorado.

The “Prince of Canada” is seen on a promotional tour of his new book around the world.

Stan Marsh, one of the series’ protagonists, refers to the fictional couple as “the stupid prince and his stupid wife”.

Created by the duo Trey Parker and Matt Stone and on the air for over 25 years, the animation is known for its acidic humor and full of sarcasm.

Several episodes feature characters with similarities to personalities and celebrities.

The series always starts with a disclaimer saying that all characters are fictional.

However, even without mentions of the names of Harry and Meghan, the book of the fictional “Prince of Canada” appears to be a reference to the prince’s memoirs, entitled what’s left and released earlier this year.

In the UK, the book became the highest-selling non-fiction title in a week (467,183 copies), according to official figures from Nielsen Book Data.

“He grabbed me by the collar, snapped my cord and threw me to the ground,” says an excerpt.

He says his brother has criticized his marriage to Meghan Markle – describing her as “difficult”, “rude” and “caustic”.

“I fell into the dog’s food bowl, which smashed into my back, the shards cut me. I lay there for a moment, stunned, then got up and told him to go away.”

Harry described the meeting, which was also attended by the late Queen Elizabeth II, as “terrifying”.

“It was frightening to see my brother yelling and screaming at me, and my father saying things that just weren’t true. And my grandmother sitting silently and kind of taking it all in,” said Harry.
