The Turkish Cypriots officially participated in the Summit of Turkish States in Ankara, as reported by SKAI’s Istanbul correspondent Manolis Kostidis.

The inclusion of the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” in the Summit shows the support of all Turkish states, the President of Turkey defiantly stated Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“With the inclusion of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, our family council has been strengthened. As a synod we have shown our strong and decisive support to the Turkish Cypriot people. We will continue him our struggle for recognition of the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” and for the lifting of the restrictions imposed on our brothers the Turkish Cypriots” Tayyip Erdogan argued.

“The Turkish Cypriot people are a non-existent part of the Turkish-speaking states. We are ready to develop relations in every field with the Turkish states” noted the Turkish president.

“Ankara wants the occupied territories to be recognized as an independent state, first by the Turkish states and then by the international community, and it is doing this step by step” stressed Manolis Kostidis.
