SYRIZA launches an attack on the government because it opens the schools while the Omicron mutation is taking place without even changing the “criminal” protocol 50 + 1.
“The opening of the schools as they closed, with a decision Mitsotaki – Kerameos, is a decision for the immunity of the herd and is a crime against society,” the official opposition emphasizes.
He accuses the government of arrogantly rejecting the package of measures tabled by the official opposition and of “leading not only the schools but the whole society to an uncontrollable dispersion, at a time when the NSS is collapsing.”
“In 3.5 months of operation of the schools we had more than 100,000 cases in students. “Only yesterday – and with closed schools – almost 8,000 of the 50,000 cases were in children who transmit the virus to their parents and grandparents in their homes,” SYRIZA emphasizes.
SYRIZA even asks 6 questions to the government which are the following:
Why do you refuse to change the 50 + 1 protocol and to stop the operation of a department in the first case for as many days as the EODY Commission determines, until all the students return after free prescribed molecular tests, so that the chain of transmission is not broken and is the virus transmitted to homes where older people can get seriously ill?
Why do you finally refuse after two years of pandemic the breaking of classes and the hiring of substitute teachers, so that classes can be held with a maximum of 15 students per class?
Why do you refuse to abolish departmental mergers, which lead to classes of 28-29 students in the midst of a pandemic?
Why refuse to prescribe PCR test for the whole population and for students as all European countries do, but push the families of students into unbearable burden and endless queues?
Why do you refuse special purpose leave for those teachers who have underlying diseases and apply for it?
Why do you refuse the supply from the Municipalities and the provision of free special masks for the protection of “O” to teachers and students, while you see that speculation with the appropriate masks is rampant?
