“I am not a person to be deleted” the PASOK MP emphasized on Monday to SKAI and the Incongruous Andreas Loverdos asked if he feels threatened with deletion or feels any pressure. Mr. Loverdos last week had stated to our station that “when we go to the elections and reject persons, we must also propose persons”.

“Yesterday I was fully reading the book by Pantelis Kapsis 2009 – 2014… And I remembered the tragic moments that I all spent on the front line. No one can touch me with such administrative measures” he added. Responding to a comment that what he said sounds arrogant, and that the president of PASOK has the right to be deleted, he commented that “we must be on a different line, something very serious must be done”.

“I’m not one of those people who you can ‘eat’ easily, perfectly and dash. But I don’t see the reason either. Because I fight with all my strength and through my presence in the Parliament, I fight a battle of absolute criticism of a failed government, along the lines of my party and through the ranks of my party. And I’m doing very well. Therefore I can’t enter into this discussion and I consider it absolutely derogatory for the one who is doing it, for whoever is doing it, not for me” pointed out Andreas Loverdos.

Asked if the voter should know who PASOK will nominate for prime minister, he replied that “neither Mr. Androulakis nor any of us are fishing in murky waters. We are having a fight.”

“Mr. Tsipras said something that I liked, all parties do a politics of competition before the elections. And as I have told you before, we are used to many politicians in Greece saying different things on Sunday morning, and different things in the evening, always based on the result. So we are fighting the battle of Sunday right now”.

Especially on this issue, added the PASOK MP, I spoke crystal clear. This does not mean that I will continue to repeat the same. I have no intention of causing internal conflict, whatever I had to say I said. I put a full stop, I also heard the party counterargument, perfect at that, we are moving on to the May elections. I commented with sufficient precision last week, I will not insist and I will not continue it, period.
