The Cyprus-Greece-Israel tripartite meeting, which will take place in Nicosia tomorrow, Friday, March 31, will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, according to a relevant announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

First, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his counterparts from Cyprus and Israel, Konstantinos Kombos and Eli Cohen respectively, will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulidis.

Afterwards, the Foreign Minister and his counterparts will participate in the tripartite meeting, while after the meeting they will make joint statements to the press at 12:25.

The foreign minister will then have a bilateral meeting with the Israeli foreign minister.

It will be followed by a private working lunch between the foreign ministers of Greece and Cyprus.

Finally, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by His Beatitude the Archbishop of Nea Justiniani and all Cyprus, Mr. George.

The tripartite meeting will focus on further strengthening close tripartite cooperation in a variety of fields, such as energy, disaster response and environmental protection, the foreign ministry said.

In addition, the discussions are expected to cover international and regional developments, including the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East, as well as the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
