For the fourth consecutive week, the household basket has seen an average decrease.

Specifically, out of 1,134 products, 57 (5.03%) showed a small increase, 44 (3.88%) showed a large decrease and 1,033 (91.09%) remained stable.

This is what the Minister of Development and Investments Adonis Georgiadis says in his post on social media.

Specifically, the minister states:

“Week 24 of the household basket, we had big declines overall, -2.5% in its weighted average value, compared to last week. It is the 4th consecutive week with an average decrease. Specifically, out of 1134 products, 57 (5.03%) showed a small increase, 44 (3.88%) showed a large decrease and 1033 (91.09%) remained stable! The effort to address Accuracy continues.”
