Claiming to continue at the helm of the country with a second government term, the prime minister today presents the ND government program for the next four years 2023-2027 at an event at the “Major Hellenism” Foundation.
After many months of work carried out by a group of government officials consisting of the Minister of State Akis Skertsos, the secretary of the program Haris Theoharis, the secretary of the ND Pavlos Marinakis and the g.g. Under the coordination of Thanasis Kontogeorgis and under the guidance and supervision of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is today expected to present the “five Greeces”, describing his main priorities for the next four years, with an emphasis on the everyday life of the citizen and the improvement of key sectors such as the National Social Security , Public Administration and improving the standard of living of citizens through fiscal policy, wages and targeted programs aimed at specific social groups such as the young or the middle class.
According to information, the program of the ND is coded in 155 points, starting with “productive Greece”, which includes the program planning for wages in the public and private sector, taxes, investments and the labor market.
After all, the prime minister has already committed to increasing the minimum wage until the end to 950 euros, while he has announced his intention to increase wages by 25% also over a period of four years in the public and private sectors, on the condition that the country will run at growth rates of the order of 3%.
He has also left open the possibility of abolishing the pretense fee within the next four years, of reducing indirect taxes as long as the execution of the budget is not jeopardized, of reducing the tax-free allowance for families by 1000 euros per child, as he announced yesterday on his television interview with Alpha, for a further reduction of insurance contributions, but also for a favorable financing program for another 60,000 small and medium enterprises through the Hellenic Development Bank.
The next point is “Social Greece”, which includes the commitments for the NHS, to which the government attaches great importance, as in Education, while in the context of improving the everyday life of the citizen, its policies will also be aimed at the modernization of the Means of Transport .
With regard to the National Health System in particular, the Prime Minister himself in his interviews and speeches throughout the previous period has already announced changes, strengthening of primary health care and the emergency departments of hospitals and 156 health centers, and the recruitment of 10,000 nurses. in depth of four years.
Next in the program is “Digital and Green Greece”, which includes the continuation of reforms in the digital state with the further expansion of gov.gr so that by 2027, all procedures in the public administration will be digital, with electronic transactions.
A prominent place in the ND government program is the support of the new generation, such as with the “My Home” program, which is being implemented for the first time in our country and concerns cheap loans for young people that will be repaid in installments smaller than a rent, while promoting “Social consideration” according to which where there are school plots in Greece, modern apartments can be built with private funds, most of them will be available exclusively to our young fellow citizens at low rent.
Finally, special emphasis is also placed on “Fair Greece” and the functioning of the institutions and the state, but also on “Strong Greece” which focuses on continuing to strengthen foreign policy, defense and citizen security, including immigration.​
