Neither “post-election bargains” nor a vote of tolerance. This is his answer Yanis Varoufakis in the next day’s scenarios, as can be seen from interviews he gave today (on the websites tvxs.gr. and news247.gr.).

Specifically, “MeRA25 is not going to participate in any attempt to create a government after the elections, when time does not allow for any serious political discussion, but only a meeting of Ministries”. Consequently, the Day25– Alliance for the rupture “is not going to participate in their post-election bargains, nor give any vote of tolerance”.

Regarding the investigative orders in particular, the head of the political formation estimates that Kyriakos Mitsotakis “will hand over the baton to Mr. Tsipras”, while the president of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance “will not have the numbers and we will go straight to the second ballots ».

After all, he continued, “if you look at the most important bills of the last four years, you will discover that the essential differences between the ND memorandum parties, SYRIZA and PASOK are few. If one considers that they are not willing to break with the orders of Brussels and the oligarchs who have been serving blindly for over a decade, then co-government between the three of them seems almost preordained.”

And, as he stated at another point, “the ideal for Mr. Tsipras is to not have MeRA25, as also for Mr. Mitsotakis.” While he repeated that “in 2015 there was a plan to break, which Alexis Tsipras violated. Betraying the 62% of our people who voted ‘no’ in the magnificent referendum of July ’15”. While today, he continued, Mr. Mitsotakis demands that Mr. Tsipras completely renounce the joint venture of January – June 2015″.

Regarding the “Dimitra” plan, he acknowledged that the Mitsotakis attack is essentially aimed at SYRIZA. In any case, “MeRA25’s program is completely compatible with the eurozone and does not aim at the country’s exit from the euro”. However, he clarified, “we do not exclude the case of exiting the euro, because currencies come and go even in the best countries of the world”. “In any case, it’s a last resort,” he added.

For the statutory provision in respect of Kasidiari party, called it “great folly” to ban the party of one who “cripples democracy” by a measure that cripples democracy. “No legislative intervention”, is the opinion of G. Varoufakis, underlining on this point yet another different approach with the official opposition.

In Greek-Turkish, he said that the Turkish ruling class always needs tensions in the Aegean and the wider region, in order to contain internal shocks. And, he went a step further, taking a stand against bilateral talks with Ankara. He also proposed an international regional conference of the Mediterranean, on the subject of demarcating maritime borders. In Ukraine, finally, he predicted “permanent war”.
