“SYRIZA talks to us about ideas and ideals, but in practice Mr. Tsipras said that the ND’s provision is flawed and will fall and that his is perfect. Yesterday’s decision of the Supreme Court shows that the SYRIZA provision would be dropped” emphasized the minister of state and government representative Akis Schertsos to SKAI 100.3 and to Ari Portosalte.

He added that in the case of the Kassidiaris party “it was shown who is with democracy and can protect this good. What did we see? A criminal organization trying to use loopholes to get into the election.

The SYRIZA arrangement would fall to the Areopagus and Kassidiaris would descend ceremoniously. So SYRIZA should go and ask Magda Fyssa if she wants the Kassidiaris party back in parliament.

We brought two provisions that we brought blocked his attempt to get off even with a straw man in front. We are with the fighting democracy. We said that we will put a brake on his plans until the last moment.”

Regarding universities, Mr. Skertsos emphasized:

“I see from SYRIZA that it embraces excellence. These professors who go down with him work abroad and some things there are self-evident, but these are not self-evident for the party they chose to work with and which wants to change everything.

Do these professors agree with the SYRIZA position that students with 1s and 2s enter schools?

Do they agree with SYRIZA that the police should not enter universities in cases where democracy is being destroyed?

These contradictions of SYRIZA must be highlighted.

We want what our students who go abroad to study experience, to experience the same here.

We have to give more opportunities to young people to stay here and that’s why we are trying to create the best conditions.”

Finally, Mr. Skertsos referred to SYRIZA’s comments about Irini Agapidakis who was put in charge of the ND state ballot:

“I find it funny and offensive at the same time that there are personalities and non-personalities. Let SYRIZA go and ask the 7,500 women who through “Fofi Gennimata” were diagnosed with cancer at an early stage, from the program organized by Mrs. Agapidaki”.
