“I’m coming back from Tripoli, not on the state plane, but by car,” Alexis Tsipras said at first, and then pledged to abolish the minimum entry requirement from these exams
In his commitment SYRIZA-PS for the abolition of the Minimum Import Base is referred to Alexis Tsipras in videos that “uploaded” to TikTok on his return to Athens from Tripoli, where he toured earlier.
“I’m coming back from Tripoli, not with the state plane, but with the car,” Mr. Tsipras says initially, adding that in Tripoli the SYRIZA government had proceeded “to upgrade the public University”. Nevertheless “Ms. Kerameos has discredited it for four years now. With the Minimum Admission Base, schools are closed, schools are not established.”
The president of SYRIZA PS stated that during his visit to Tripoli “a 17-year-old student came and found me, he’s voting for the first time, and he asked me if it’s true what we say that from these exams we will cancel the minimum base, enabling more people to go to university”. “I told him no it’s just true, it’s a commitment”, notes Mr. Tsipras, adding: “Because we don’t want to put barriers to access to higher education for those children who have elementary potential to succeed. And why we don’t work for college heads but for a public education with high quality studies in all public universities”.
