ELAS confirms the incident that unfolded last night in a tavern in Moschato between the former SYRIZA minister Pavlos Polakis and the police.
The Hellenic Police Headquarters announces that the fine imposed on a waiter of a health care store, last night in Moschato during checks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, is valid.
The announcement was made on the occasion of the post of the former minister of SYRIZA on social media who refers to an incident in which he participated in a restaurant where the Police checked for the measures against the coronavirus and a fine was imposed on employees.
According to him, he reacted and asked that the fine not be applied.
What happened
Mr. Polakis described the incident in a post on Facebook.
According to him, it all started when while he was gathering with his friends in a tavern in Moschato, police officers proceeded to check for the observance of the measures for the coronation in the restaurant and confirmed a fine to a waiter who allegedly did not wear a mask.
The SYRIZA MP intervened trying to prevent the police from cutting the fine, claiming that what they are doing is unacceptable and miserable because the store complies with the protection measures.
