Alexis Tsipras gives a full-length interview to the SKAI main news bulletin and Kosionis in view of the June 25 elections.

The president of SYRIZA used the phrase “mea culpa” for the simple analogy and declared ahead of the June 25 elections, that “we will all be judged, individually and collectively and I will be judged too”, whatever that may mean.

Watch video from the interview of the president of SYRIZA:

Mr. Tsipras commented on the difference from New Democracy, saying that “SYRIZA was, is and will be a party of power”, adding that he knows that the overthrow is difficult, but he is determined to fight to the end.

Referring to Nikos Androulakis and PASOK, he said that “Mr. Mitsotakis can feel happy that he had PASOK and Nikos Androulakis facing him, as in essence the president of PASOK burned the simple analogy and the perspective of cooperation”.

When asked by Sia Kosioni about the field of voters he will look for at the polls on June 25, Mr. Tsipras said that he is addressing all voters, even those who did not go to vote and of course all progressive voters.

“In the previous pre-election period, we did not communicate our program properly. It is a given that 40% of citizens chose Mitsotakis and New Democracy. But now we have another electoral test. On June 25, our future will be decided for the next 4 years”, the president of SYRIZA emphasized.

Referring to Health, Mr. Tsipras said that during the 4 years of New Democracy, not a single recruitment was made in the National Health Service, while regarding the death of the woman in Kos, he said that “sometimes a wheelchair is also a solution, as long as it reaches the hospital”.

Mr. Tsipras requested, indirectly but clearly, the dismissal of Mr. Pneumatikos from New Democracy, giving as an example his reaction to the matter of Giorgos Katrougalos. When asked by Sia Kosionis if he will do the same for Mr. Fili and his statements about the Muslims of Thrace, he said: “Hey, what should I do with Mr. Fili? What he said;” and coming back to the issue of health, he said that the NHS is collapsing under ND.

When asked what he will do if he gets low percentages and if he intends to resign, the president of SYRIZA left everything open, saying that “in SYRIZA we have collective procedures, different from those of ND, we will make a fund and make decisions. In the Left, we are not used to making decisions in the heat of the moment.”
