Mr. Pierrakakis and Mr. Marinakis, accompanied by the president of DEEP Yiannis Koutsonassios, as well as its members, the deputy governor of the PE of Trikala Christos Michalakis, the mayor of Trikkaia Dimitris Papastergiou, the politicians of the prefecture and party officials, visited local shops where they talked with businessmen and workers and exchanged views with representatives of authorities and agencies in the region, highlighting the government’s actions of the past four years and the development goals of the next one.
In his statements immediately after the end of the visits, the former Minister of Digital Governance and candidate for Member of Parliament of Athens First Kyriakos Pierrakakis, emphasized: “Trikala is a city that talks to the future. The Municipality pioneers technologies that serve the needs of citizens and aim for a sustainable development. We walked through the public market, the lively pedestrian street of Asklipio and chatted with residents and merchants. On June 25, we call on everyone to seal their support for our proposal by giving a clear mandate to Kyriakos Mitsotakis.”
For his part, the secretary of the ND Parliamentary Assembly Pavlos Marinakis said: “Today in Trikala we had a particularly warm welcome from our members and citizens. I have the pleasure of being here today with a man who went from words to deeds, Kyriakos Pierrakakis. He left his mark on the Ministry of Digital Governance and was one of the most characteristic examples of the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which left behind the times of misery, toxicity and division and went from words to deeds in the most difficult period for the humanity.
The result of May was impressive throughout Greece and in Trikala.
Extremely honorable for our faction and because our lifelong supporters came and supported us for our effort, but also because many of our fellow citizens who in the past made other political choices, joined Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his vision for a better Greece. What we need to emphasize is that the crucial elections are the elections ahead of us, on June 25.
It is a completely new electoral process, the ballot box will be empty on the morning of Sunday 25th June and this is the election that will decide the future of the country for the next four years. We ask our fellow citizens to trust us again, but also our fellow citizens who may have hesitated at the last moment to do so this time. Because our country needs a strong prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the big changes we need”.
Today in the prefecture of Trikala together with @Pierrakakis.
We continue to go around Greece and talk directly to the citizens about what we have achieved in the last four years, but also about everything we still want to do. pic.twitter.com/2v3Q2w4lrB
