“In the Parliament we will form a dynamic opposition, a defense opposition as we announced it. As a former president of the Parliament, I will take advantage of the possibilities, supplies, and rights given to me by the Parliament’s regulations. Opposition with all our strength, with an unshakable parliamentary group that I have planned that will represent Freedom Sailing”, Zoi Konstantopoulou, the head of Freedom Sailing, told SKAI and the show “Kalimera”, with George Auttias.

“We will intervene in order to bring the citizens to the Parliament through the procedures of democratic participation of the citizens. Essentially, we will bring society, citizens into the Parliament. This is also the reason why they are hitting us all this time”, he added.

Also, Mrs. Konstantopoulou asserted that “there are citizens who understand that if Freedom Sailing and Zoe Konstantopoulou enter the Parliament… We will change the lights for them. There is no way to leave the rights of citizens unguarded. There is no way we can leave vulnerable citizens defenseless. There is no way we won’t be a firewall for the citizens.”

“If Freedom Sailing enters the Parliament, the citizens will enter the Parliament. The system understands this, that’s why it rages. That’s why we are under this furious attack all these days. All this time I am being beaten as a woman, as a party leader, for all the things I said I would do. To build an unshakable parliamentary group, impenetrable, incorruptible that will not be influenced by anyone. A parliamentary group that will be able to do what I promised,” he added.

Referring to the criticism she received from former candidates of the party for the changes in the list, Ms. Konstantopoulou emphasized that “I had announced it publicly more than 5 times and it had been applauded by them, who appear as allegedly dissatisfied.”

“Diamantis Karanastasis was not hit because he is my partner. He was hit because the whole world knows that he is a pillar of Freedom Sailing and he will stand by me. From the very beginning he was a co-founder, the initiator of all important initiatives and the one behind our campaign that has given us all this momentum all this time. It is hit not by accident.
