“I explain to SYRIZA that I have not been active as a lawyer for a long time,” said the representative of PASOK Dimitris Manzos speaking to 100.3 and to Noti Papadopoulos and Vasilis Chiotisanswering to charges of SYRIZA which arise from a publication of the “Demokratia” newspaper, which reports that its representative and PASOK state parliamentarian candidate, was recruited as a lawyer by a fund against a borrower.

You can’t equate it with debt collection companies” said Mr. Manzos and added:

“It’s a law firm that has hundreds of partners and each one has a different obligation. The fact that the law firms also had this development with the funds is something for which the lawyers are not responsible, but the SYRIZA policy that handed over the red loans to the funds”.

He clarified that: “I explain to SYRIZA that I have not been active as a lawyer for a long time, since I took over the office of PASOK. I have not interrupted or suspended my status, but since I got involved in politics I have not been active” commented the representative of PASOK and wondered “how can one be controlled at a time prior to his political journey?”.

He commented that “the particular office I work with has dealt with over 100 cases of rescuing citizens from bad loans by saving their homes”.

Referring to June 25 electionsemphasized that “our goal is to become the reliable strong opposition force, something that SYRIZA has failed to achieve in these years”.
