Turkish media: Erdogan has gone on vacation
Meanwhile, Turkish media are searching for Tayyip Erdogan, who has gone to his summer palace on holiday, which is protected by a frigate and two coast guard ships
Fatih Portakal, a news presenter at Sozcu TV asked: “Where is Erdogan? Because since last Wednesday, Erdogan has been missing. After his party’s caucus, he met with the president of the Nationalist Action Party, while on Thursday the interest rate hike was announced. It’s Friday, the weekend. On our television network we said it doesn’t exist, where it is.
We were wondering if he is sick or gone on vacation. Finally we found out that the president has gone on vacation. You know in Marmaris in Okluk Bay there is a summer palace of the presidency. It is one of the most beautiful spots in the area. He is there for three days. There are 1 frigate and two ships of the coast guard at this particular point and they do not allow anyone to enter the Gulf of Okluk”.
Kilicdaroglu, despite his defeat, remains in the presidency of his party
At the same time, after 12 defeats, Kemal Kilicdaroglu remains in the presidency of his party to lead “the ship to the next port” which is the local elections.
As Fatih Portakal, a news presenter at Sozcu TV, reported: “Kemal Kilicdaroglu is showing signs that he will remain in the presidency of his party and there are some who support this.”
Like the mayor of Smyrna, Tunsts Sawyer, who emphasized: “Our president basically said it. As the captain I have the responsibility to guide the boat to the port. As a port, I understand the local elections. And this is the right thing.”
