Today they are put in public consultation the bill of the Ministry of the Interior, which will lift all restrictions on the vote of Greeks Abroad.

As mentioned in the interior minister Niki Kerameos the bill will be in consultation for about a week and the plan is to have it passed before the summer recess.

He pointed out that in order to “pass” this particular bill needs to be voted by 200 deputies. He clarified that this is not a new procedure, but for the facilitation of Greeks abroad, who are registered in the electoral rolls and retain their right to vote.

Mrs. Kerameos made a call to all MPs in order to pass the bill, characterizing the historic opportunity and responsibility of each MP to send a message to Hellenism everywhere.
He added that in this context the government will make contacts with all parties.

Mrs. Kerameos pointed out that his main priority Ministry of Interior is the acceleration of the recruitment system through ASEP and in this context he will have a new meeting tomorrow at the Supreme Personnel Selection Council (ASEP).
