The Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias met with the Minister of Defense of Italy Guido Crosetto, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius.

“We discussed the excellent level of bilateral defense cooperation and our common will to further strengthen it also in matters of defense industry. We exchanged views on the security situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and our cooperation to promote stability in the region,” he wrote on Mr. Dendias’s personal twitter account.
He further announced that at the Alliance summit in Vilnius he had a conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and the Foreign Ministers of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis and Norway’s Mrs. Anniken Huitfeldt.
