All names – The selection criteria
The names of the new general and special secretaries in the ministries were announced by the prime minister’s office. As government sources note, the only criterion for the selection of General Secretaries is the ability to respond to their role, based on their experience and professional path and not their party identity.
From the total of 63 General and Special Secretaries, 34 (54%) remain in the position they held, while 29 (46%) are new positions. Of the 29 new placements, 12 (41%) are women. Experienced executives from the Public Administration as well as executives from the academic community and the market have also been utilized.
It is noted that none of the General Secretaries was a candidate for parliament in the last elections. It is emphasized that executives from other political areas are also used, such as Mrs. Dimadama (PASOK – responsible for the Equality sector) but also Mr. Milapidis who was the Director of the Parliamentary Group in Potami.
Executives from the public sector such as Mr. Dramaliotis, executive of g.g. Coordination, Kampouris, executive c.g. of Coordination, Kollias, executive of TAIPED, Kalyva, executive of the Department of Health and Karasiotos, executive of GLK but also executives from the market and the academic community such as Mr. Aivaliotis, Psylla, Katsaros, Aggelis, Magoulas and Karantzalos.
