The issue of the 101 Croatian hooligans of Dinamo Zagreb who have been remanded in custody in 16 Greek prisons was mentioned by the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrei Plenkovic, As reported by ERT, contrary to the provocative statements of the country’s president Zoran Milanovic Plenkovic clarified that the case is in the hands of the Greek Justice.

Plenkovic called for the deportation of most of the hooligans arrested in the deadly attack in New Philadelphia.

The statements of the Croatian Prime Minister come in response to Milanovic’s new provocative position, but also to the letter sent to him by a group of parents and family members of Dinamo Zagreb hooligans who were remanded in custody for their participation in the attack in New Philadelphia that had a tragic end murder of Michalis Katsouris. The parents of those arrested were asking government intervention for the safety of their children and a fair trial by the Greek Justice.

With reference to the 101 Croatian hooligans who were sentenced to pre-trial detention for the murderous attack in New Philadelphia that resulted in the murder of Michalis Katsouri, the Croatian president defiantly declared, among other things, that: “The law is not respected. They treat these people like prisoners of war. If I were the prime minister, I would think about what I could do. It’s not simple. It is on the edge of the law of war. They treat them like prisoners,” Milanovic emphasized.
