Vassilis Stigas: “There was an ongoing plan to overthrow me” – What the now independent member of parliament of the Spartans Haris Katsivardas answers
A scene of dissolution is formed in the spartans, with the war between the president Vasilis Stigaand of his parliamentary group, to continue unabated.
The two sides spoke today to SKAI, with Vasilis Stiga to talk about irregular money transactions, his deputies to deny it, to denounce him for what he said yesterday Thursday in the Parliament, and indeed, to respond with an extrajudicial.
“There was an ongoing plan to overthrow methey are discussing a conference and raising the issue of a president… This plan existed before the elections, in order to bring in thousands of members and overthrow me” said Mr. Stigas characteristically to SKAI.
The president of the Spartans insists that his MPs have given money to a source he photographs, without naming them.
“I haven’t given money, but some MPs have, maybe they will be able to they say where this money is going,” he said.
With the now independent MP Haris Katsivardas throwing his fire at Vassilis Stigas, and revealing to SKAI that he alreadyhas sent extrajudicial charges for his reports on the “Greek Mafia”. “I notified Mr. Stiga personally out of court, saying that he has the right to delete me, but he has no right to leave spikes, indefinite censure, without naming and leaving a comment about the Greek Mafia, Don Corleone, etc. is a matter of principle…” he said.
“The one who took the lead in the processes within the party and persistently asked for a conference is Haris Katsivardas, he was visiting Kasidiaris in Domoko, of course in the capacity of a lawyer” the president of the Spartans replied to SKAI.
“I am (Kassidiaris)’s lawyer, I have an inalienable right to talk about legal issues, it is not something illegal or reprehensible” replied Mr. Katsivardas.
The war between the two sides has reached its extreme and the dissolution of the Spartan parliamentary group is now at hand.
“To terrorize me that I am not a democrat, they persistently asked for a convention… That’s it. That’s it for now. Even yesterday when they did not come to the plenary session it’s blackmail. Katsivardas came out and said that it is a conscious choice for us not to present ourselves to the parliament,” said Mr. Stigas.
“Criminal offenses have specific circumstances, i.e. you have to prove the manner, the time, and the specific persons… The threat and extortion under the Criminal Code have specific circumstances… As long as he has evidence to file or name” said Mr. Katsivardas.
All indications are that the president of the Spartans continues to try to re-approach MPs, and claims that some of them signed the joint statement under threats. “They’re pulling the strings, and they’re trying to sway and other deputies. In other words, they sign on behalf of other members of parliament. This is very serious,” said Mr. Stigas.
“There is a solid XIbecause developments are rapid, I don’t know what will happen next, the only thing that is certain is that this 11th already dealing with the next day” noted Mr. Katsivardas.
“There was no consultation, no phone call with Ilias Kasidiaris, but even today I believe that it was the fuel, the kerosene that put us in Parliament, it was a support” however, admitted the president of the Spartans.
“Is the fact that Mr. Kasidiaris voted, that he exercised his right to vote, a crime?” said Haris Katsivardas for his part.
The Spartan caucus is seething, and developments are expected.
