Tomorrow at 10 am the president of the “Spartans” Vassilis Stigas is going to testify to the prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Georgia Adelini, who will conduct a preliminary investigation regarding his statements in the Parliament about “Greek Mafia and Don Corleone”.
The president of the party, last Thursday, August 31, during the debate in Parliament on the fires, mentioned, among other things, in his speech, on the occasion of the absence of all his deputies from the seats: “The gentlemen who are missing today are guided and guided by extra-parliamentary centers. I say this with the courage of my opinion. These centers refer to Greek Mafia and Don Corleone”.
Vassilis Stigas said, among other things, this morning speaking to MEGA, regarding his statements about the Greek Mafia: “When a person makes a statement on behalf of others and it is not so, he wants to impose himself in his own way. This manner is clearly reminiscent of the mafia.”
At the same time, the president of the party argued that he can proceed alone, while he reiterated his support for Ilias Kasidiaris for the Municipality of Athens, stressing: “I support Kasidiaris for the Municipality of Athens, even though we have ideological and practical differences. This man supported me. By all accounts, if he had not supported me, I and the Spartans would not have entered Parliament. The circle with Kasidiaris is closed. He supported me, I supported him.”
Also, Mr. Stigas mentioned that his brother Ilias Kasidiaris is a transferred employee to a member of parliament of the “Spartiates”.
