“They will be held accountable. It’s a commitment. It is a patriotic duty”, states the candidate for the president of SYRIZA PS
The candidate for SYRIZA PS president Stefanos Kasselakis launches an attack on the government for dealing with the catastrophic floods in Thessaly, on the occasion of photos that saw the light of day from the flooded base in Stefanovikio.
In a post on his personal account on X he states:
“In the hour of unspeakable tragedy… And while we are still searching for the lives lost in the inability of a state to defend its people…
One of the dozens of questions that plagued society from the very beginning was why they didn’t fly the rescue helicopters. I personally didn’t “buy” the cheap wind excuse.
The helicopters “drown” in the mud!
That’s why they didn’t fly to the rescue.
After Aghialo, the 1st Army Aviation Brigade was also left behind.
How many Rafales in parades, how many passes to hide so much incompetence?
One thing to know: they will be held accountable.
It is a patriotic duty. pic.twitter.com/dV0UYRXqzu— Stefanos Kasselakis – Stefanos Kasselakis (@skasselakis) September 9, 2023
Today it was revealed why they didn’t fly: The helicopters “drown” in the mud! Among them Huey, Kiowa, training helicopters and – according to information – even Apache, the most modern and most expensive combat vehicle of the Air Force.
The revelations of Documento newspaper are shocking.
A month and a half after the explosions in the 111th Fighter Wing in Aghialos, the 1st Army Aviation Brigade in Stefanovikio was also left with a bare vine.
How many Rafales in parades, how many passes to civilians to hide so much incompetence?
The matter is extremely serious and the moment does not allow me to make unnecessary statements.
One thing they should know: they will be held accountable. It’s a commitment. It is a patriotic duty.”
