The second axis concerns dead animals and stated that relevant instructions have been posted by the Ministry of Health, highlighting that stagnant water is potentially polluting and there is an increased number and area of ​​dead animals. Guidelines have been issued, he said, for the collection and cremation/sanitary burial of the dead animals to the concerned deputy governors and officials of the District so that the population is immediately protected.
The third axis concerns the epidemiological surveillance of infectious diseases such as gastroenteritis.
And the fourth axis the entomological surveillance with greater intensity as the region gives cases of West Nile underlining that the cases are expected to become more intense after a week.
The Minister of Social Cohesion Sofia Zaharaki he said that “all our structures in Thessaly at the Social Welfare Center did not face any issues.
