The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the compassion, solidarity and deep sorrow of Greece for the lives that have been lost due to the catastrophic passage of bad weather Daniel in Libya.
Specifically, in a post on the X platform he states:
Having also been affected by devastating #flooding, we sympathize with the people of #Libya & are deeply saddened by the loss of so many lives due to #badweather Daniel. We express our solidarity with all those affected and share the pain with the families of the victims

At least 150 people have died so far in the devastating floods, according to the official count, while the death toll is feared to be in the hundreds.
