In the Plenary for discussion and voting the draft law of the Ministry of Labor “on the strengthening of work – Incorporation of Directive (EU) 2019/1152 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 20, 2019 – Simplification of digital processes and strengthening of the Labor Card – Upgrading of of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Labor Inspectorate”.

The draft law is introduced to the Plenary after its majority vote by the Social Affairs Committee of the Parliament.

In the Committee, the ND was in favor of the bill on its Authority.

On the contrary, SYRIZA, KKE, Hellenic Solution, Niki, Spartiates and Pleussi Eleftherias insisted on voting against him, on the Authority while declaring that they would vote for certain positive provisions. PASOK-KINAL reserved its overall position on the draft law in the Plenary.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Adonis Georgiadis, during the elaboration of the bill in the Committee of the Parliament, has stated that at the beginning of the debate in the Plenary, he will file legal technical improvements in certain provisions, according to the proposals made by the proposals of organizations and parties.

In the draft law, the ministerial amendment for the unfreezing of the three years as well as the granting of insurance capacity in areas affected by natural disasters has also been submitted for discussion and voting.

The exemption from participation for the administration of medicines and the execution of diagnostic tests and electronic opinions for benefits of the Uniform Regulation of Health Benefits for those affected by the bad weather “Daniel”.

At the same time, two parliamentary amendments have been submitted. The first from PASOK-KINAL on the subject of “the determination of the minimum wage by the social partners and the National Collective Labor Agreement, three-year calculation”.

The second, of the KKE, has as its subject the “Retrospective recognition of the increase of salary and daily wage due to previous service. Retrospective repeal of P.Y.S 6/28.2.2012, which was issued under the authority of par. 6 of article 1 of Law 4046/2012 and any provision that froze the increase of salary and daily wage due to seniority”.
