New meeting at the weekend in order to assess the new data that will have emerged
An extraordinary wide-ranging inter-ministerial meeting was held this afternoon at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. The purpose was to inform the relevant Ministries, the Security Forces, the OTAs of the first and second degree, and all the agencies involved about the wave of bad weather, which, according to the National Meteorological Service, is expected to start on Monday from Thessaly and in the coming days to expand to other regions of the country.
The meeting highlighted the need for the entire state apparatus, as well as the regional and local self-government to be prepared for the impending bad weather, mainly due to the burden that the wider region of Thessaly has suffered since the recent disaster.
