The candidate for the presidency of SYRIZA spoke of “forced reconstruction of the State from one end of the country to the other”
The SYRIZA PS presidential candidate completed his public visits and speeches with a tour of eastern Macedonia Stefanos Kasselakis, almost twenty-four hours before the second round to elect a new president in the main opposition party.
From Kavala, where Mr. Kasselakis was today late afternoon and spoke to friends and comrades of SYRIZA PS in a beach cafe of the city, as he completed the cycle of visits and presentations throughout the country, he emphasized that he kept two promises he made the previous week: “The first to visit eastern Macedonia and the second to spend time on special education issues as many parents approached me and asked for my assistance, expressing the complaint that the state has abandoned them to their fate”, underlined the candidate president.
She criticized her government New Republic saying that he has a “hard and rigid philosophy” in the policy practiced in the areas of social care and social care for the economically weaker citizens, while he added that “the Left is human-centered”. He also referred to the founder of PASOK, Andreas Papandreou, saying that he “built an innovative social state that Alexis Tsipras managed to keep standing under very difficult conditions and situations due to the crisis and the memorandums”.
He referred to the honorable proposal of Alexis Tsipras to include him in the State ballot as a candidate of expatriate Hellenism, noting that “whoever does not become a citizen in Greece does not mean that he cannot contribute to his country. I want to return to Greece with all the experiences and know-how I have and to offer to my country”.
“We are not a Greece without a heart. We are a Greece with a very big heart and humanity. Our common goal is people’s lives and the future of the country. This is also my political thinking, the common good and the interest for everyone”, stressed Stefanos Kasselakis. He even noted with emphasis that he himself has the stomach to deal with the mechanisms of interests.
Concluding his speech, he spoke of the imperative reconstruction of the state from one end of the country to the other, adding “reconstruction costs nothing. The expensive thing is to do nothing. The cheap thing is to change the country and make prevention the dominant position and idea.”
Earlier in the morning the presidential candidate for the leadership of SYRIZA visited Drama and participated in the conference of the Drama Hotel Association.
Taking the floor, Mr. Kasselakis emphasized his intention to advance, if elected, in prioritizing decentralization, which he considers decisive in the perspective of the green transition and of dealing with the demographic aging of the country.
He declared himself a supporter of private initiative, through a legitimate reality and not through the client state. In fact, he spoke of reducing the income tax and stimulating consumption through the strengthening of income.
In conclusion, Mr. Kasselakis said that his vision is a modern, patriotic ruling Left and emphasized that “in my person you will have an ally”. Especially for Drama, he said that special care is needed, and a separate plan will be developed for each Region, avoiding horizontal measures.
Leaving Drama and heading to Kavala, Stefanos Kasselakis visited the pilot school in Amygdaleonas.
