The PASOK-Movement for Change parliamentary representative spoke to the OPEN television station in the morning, Michalis Katrinis, where, commenting on the dominance of Mr. Kasselakis in the official opposition party, he stated that his election to the leadership of SYRIZA “does not constitute an upheaval of the political scene, as some want to show it”. “The overturning of the political scene will occur when a convincing and mainly majority alternative proposal of governance is created that will give hope to the citizens.

This is still the strategic goal of PASOK. In order to form such a majority stream, clear positions and ideas that mobilize society are required”, emphasized Mr. Katrinis.

He noted that the problems cannot be solved through polls and communication, but only through clear positions concerning the stability of the country and the improvement of the quality of life of the citizens.

Regarding whether there can be a channel of communication between PASOK and SYRIZA, the parliamentary representative stated that such issues are only opened by society and arise as a social need. “The world is looking for a different, realistic and convincing proposal of governance. In PASOK, we have realized this and that is precisely why we give great weight to substance and content, with specific positions, proposals and solutions to daily issues and major national issues”, underlined the parliamentary representative of PASOK-KINAL.
