the minister characterized the bill extremely “philanthropic” to add that the institutionalization of Sunday work in branches of industry “will add to the workers +115% of their daily wage. In the factories there will be a fight about who will work first on Sunday.”

Mr. Georgiadis clarified that working hours do not change however as he said is “employee’s right to work for another employer” and this, as he said, is in accordance with a European directive. “No employer can abuse this right. The labor inspectorate will check through Erganis”he emphasized.

For pensions underlined that the measures that were in force with covid came to EFKA and the original way of paying pensions was restored.
