The coordination of all necessary actions in order to complete the of Digital Projects of Justice the Minister of Justice, Giorgos Floridis and the Deputy Minister of Justice, Ioannis Bougas discussed today Tuesday in a working meeting with the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou.

The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the progress of the projects that will contribute to the digital transformation of Justice, a critical sector for the proper functioning of the state and the development of the country.

In this direction, a series of important interventions are already on track for implementation, such as:

  • The electronic service of documents through gov.gr
  • The video conferencing services in courts and prisons and the provision of information services on the progress of the court tables and exhibits, in the context of the digital transformation of the “e-justice” Courts
  • The further digitization of legal procedures, such as the filing of pleadings
  • The possibility of obtaining a copy of the Criminal Record through the KEP window at gov.gr

The Minister of Justice, George Floridis, expressed his thanks to Mr. Papastergiou, for the personal interest he is showing in order to advance all digital projects, so that Justice can be led into a new era.

For his part, the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, underlined the importance of the rapid implementation of these projects in such a critical area with the aim of expediting the delivery of Justice.

The General Secretaries of Justice, Panos Alexandris and of Information Systems and Digital Governance, Demosthenes Anagnostopoulos also participated in the meeting.
