With a message of condolence, PASOK expresses its deep sorrow for the death of the former minister of the party and founding member of the PAK, Nikos Skoulas.
Nikos Skoulas, who had served as PASOK’s government minister and also as president of the Hellenic Tourism Organization in the 1980s, passed away at the age of 89.

It is with deep sadness and respect that we say goodbye to Nikos Skoulas, historical executive of the PAK, one of the founding members of PASOK and former Minister.
Nikos Skoulas developed intense anti-dictatorship activity and was dynamically present in the struggles for democracy and Change.
A close associate of Andreas Papandreou, the Cretan politician worked with ethics and honesty in many government positions with a particular point of reference in the Tourism policy taking over the newly established Ministry.
A man of contribution to society, of integrity and visionary, a rare personalitywhich left a special mark on the political history of the country and the Democratic Party.
