“The new leader of SYRIZA does not emit a clear political stamp”, commented the Minister of State Makis Voridis
“It seems that the post-election bad result of SYRIZA was repeated in the municipal elections and is reflected in the GPO poll. In my opinion, all this is connected to a deep strategic crisis. The new leader of SYRIZA does not emit a clear political stamp. There is no clear picture of what he represents,” Minister of State Makis Voridis said on Thursday morning to SKAI and the SIMERA program regarding the GPO poll and the decline of SYRIZA.
“Mr. Kasselakis says he wants to represent the Left, but this does not register in the world’s consciousness,” write down. “So this adds to the confusion, SYRIZA is in turmoil,” he added.
“The case of the new leader and the personality he has is a result of the causes of the SYRIZA crisis,it is a symptom of the crisis, it did not create the crisis but it was created by the crisis, it is part of this whole situation”, he said.
“The great and powerful pole is the New Democracy, this leads us to a state of arrogance, as we may feel that we are alone.
But there are two factors that do not allow us to behave like this:
The first is that we are going through the second 4 years and this makes the citizens to be very strict towards us, the citizen controls us more demandingly
The second factor is that in the first 4 years we had the argument that SYRIZA existed, now we don’t have that. Now we take all the responsibility.
Therefore, not having a strong opposition does not leave us any room for arrogance,” he said.
About the Spartans, Minister of State Makis Voridis stated:
“On the part of the criminal proceedings, permission is requested from the parliament in order to investigate whether the Spartan MPs committed the crime of defrauding the voters, which is specified in the charge to be examined as being the fact that they are not guided, that they are a party that it has nothing to do with those convicted of a criminal organization, while in fact it follows from their own statements and behavior that it was a party led”
“Parliament will decide whether permission is granted and then they will be called to testify to decide whether the criminal prosecution procedure will be followed,” he added.
