“The anti-people plan of the ND government for extensive support of private health entrepreneurs, for the implementation of Public and Private Sector Partnerships and strengthening the entrepreneurship of public hospitals, is in full effect. The latest case, the delivery of the operation of the CT and MRI machine in one of the largest hospitals of Attica, the General State Hospital of Nice, to private individuals, after its deliberate understaffing. In other words, instead of staffing the X-ray department of the hospital in Nice, they are ‘stuffing’ private individuals with money”, points out the KKE in its comment.

“The government’s arguments that supposedly patients are not burdened, are fairy tales. The CT and MRI have already been paid for by the heavy taxation, contributions and co-payments of the people, who pay in a thousand and two ways for their health, and are now being handed over to private entrepreneurs.

Private entrepreneurs have as a criterion and purpose of operation the maximum possible profit and that is why it is in complete contrast to the needs of patients, but also with negative effects from the ownership of scientific data, which they objectively ensure from the control of these sectors” adds the comma to his comment and emphasizes concluding:

“Now let the fighting claim of the workers and the whole people be strengthened, for the full staffing of the public hospitals with all the necessary staff. Not to hand over any sector of public hospitals to private entrepreneurs”.
