“We must propose the next day to the Greek society based on a clear proposal, so that the Greek citizens can live better” and “this is a substantial political debate, it is not a procedural debate”, emphasized the president of the KO of SYRIZA-PS, Sokratis Famellos, in his statements immediately after the completion of the first day of the meeting of the Central Committee of the party.

In particular, Mr. Famellos mentioned that “the first day of the KE ended with a big question: what is the perspective of SYRIZA and Greek society?” He said that “a very great anxiety is expressed in our discussion, which is a result of the defeat of the elections and the departure of Alexis Tsipras”.

“We also understand the anxiety of Greek society, because while we discuss our internal problems, society’s life gets worse and our democracy and our economy and this is the responsibility of Mr. Mitsotakis”, he emphasized.

He noted that “so we have a great responsibility towards Greek society to give political answers” and added that “this it can’t be done with toxicity or personal terms, we must propose the next day to Greek society based on a clear proposal, so that Greek citizens can live better”.

He emphasized that “this is a substantive political debate, it is not a procedural debate.
