An agreement on visa facilitation for citizens and cooperation in tourism is expected to be reached at the meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Mitsotakis in Athens.

As reported by correspondent of SKAI in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, citizens with this agreement will be able to stay for 72 hours. However, it must be clarified whether it will be a multiple visa, eg for each time staying 72 hours within a month or within a year.

It is also expected that there will be communication about the refugee situation and, as happened in the past, there will be a committee and a representative of the Greeks in Smyrna and Turkey in Lesbos and direct contact between the Coast Guard headquarters.

According to Manolis Kostidis, the Turkish president is expected to come with a large delegation of 8 or 10 ministers along with associates, businessmen, journalists, etc. Perhaps more than 300 people.

The intentions for minorities, bilateral, etc., may be included in the joint communiqué.
