The reaction of Euclid Tsakalotos was caused by the statement of Kasselakis that “a major programmatic disagreement with Mr. Tsakalotos was taxation. I do not want a tax raid on the Greek. I want to reduce waste and for competition to work”.

With his post on Facebook, Mr. Tsakalotos noted: If we asked some historians of the Left what elements make up the entire Left in the last 150 years, we might have some differences in the answers we would get. Surely everyone would tell us about redistributive taxation, the welfare state and supporting the labor movement.
Now I learn that the patriotic Left, without world-confounding analyses, does not need redistributive taxation to support the welfare state. The “new” will do well.
PS: Competition wouldn’t be in the top 100 priorities of the Left I’m guessing.

Earlier, Yannis Dragasakis invited Mr. Kasselakis to read the SYRIZA government report, so that – as he says – he is not exposed & does not give a grip to the ND with the slanderous arguments of the anti-SYRIZA front, regarding his statements about the pillow of the 37 billion of the SYRIZA government.
