For “double demonstration of political immorality on the part of K. Mitsotakis» he says the president of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis in his lengthy post on Facebook reacting to the comments of government representative Pavlos Marinakis about the Polytechnic who said that “I don’t know if Mr. Kasselakis is marching for the Polytechnic with the Goldman Sachs block or with the SYRIZA youth block”.

“Through the mouth of a government representative, he believes that anyone who has worked at Goldman Sachs is a potential supporter of the dictatorship in Greece“, notes Mr. Kasselakis and adds: “And in person, calling SYRIZA a “formation”, the government of debt settlement and exit from the memoranda.”

“Even a party that governs hand-in-hand with the Far Right internally (Voridis, Georgiadis, Pleuris) and externally (Velopoulos), personally I would never call it a formation, respecting the democratic vote of the citizens. But that’s our difference.” ends up.

Stefanos Kasselakis’ post in detail

When a party goes through problems – which you can be sure we will all overcome together – then the morale and quality of its opponents shows.
Today we had a double display of political immorality on the part of the ND.
The government representative – who still holds the position of Secretary of the ND – should be informed that the Polytechnic uprising is a historical event that does not allow blue political cafe statements like the one he made. Apparently, Mr. Marinakis, who represents Kyriakos Mitsotakis, considers that anyone who has worked at Goldman Sachs is a potential supporter of the dictatorship in Greece!
It is a pity for the level of the statements, not so much because they are not expected from the secretary of the party whose vice president is Adonis Georgiadis – who has questioned the very uprising of the Polytechnic University – but because he represents a government which, in such matters, must express the majority of democratic Greeks, inside and outside Greece.
But today K. Mitsotakis struck not only through a representative but also in person, calling SYRIZA a “formation” in an interview.
Forming the party that received empty coffers, a bankrupt country, and became the first government in history to leave behind full coffers and not scorched earth.
Forming the party that settled the debt, took the country out of the memorandums and signed the historic Prespa Agreement.
The formation of the party that in difficult circumstances increased the minimum wage, abolished the sub-minimum, brought back collective bargaining, gave access to the National Social Security System to our uninsured fellow citizens, reduced unemployment by 10 points, increased spending on public universities, brought back the 13th pension.
Formed the party that legislated the acquisition of citizenship for the children of immigrants born in Greece, that instituted the cohabitation agreement for same-sex couples and the legal recognition of gender identity.
Even a party that governs hand in hand with the Far Right internally (Voridis, Georgiadis, Pleuris) and externally (Velopoulos), personally I would never call it a formation, respecting the democratic vote of the citizens. But this is our difference.
