In August, judges formally indicted Daniel Alves after finding evidence of irregularities committed by the 40-year-old player.

“The statements of the alleged victim and the statements of the witnesses and the reports of the experts appearing in the process must be considered sufficient for this purpose, without prejudice to the final result after the plenary phase,” said the court.
