“The anniversary of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the KKE, the Party is faced with complex tasks that stem from today’s demands of the class struggle” emphasizes an announcement of the party and points out, among other things:

“There are increasing signs that confirm the Party’s assessment that a new international, synchronized in the most important capitalist centers, economic crisis is coming, the outbreak of which may be accelerated by the sharpening of intra-imperialist antagonisms and the increase in the dispersion of war conflicts.

At the same time, the contrast between the two main imperialist blocs is sharpening, the so-called Euro-American bloc on the one hand, led by the USA and the member states of the EU and NATO, given the differences in interests, and the so-called Eurasian bloc on the other, led by the China and Russia, characterized by respective partial conflicts of interest. Around this dispute for the conquest of the top of the imperialist pyramid, the other oppositions between capitalist states and regional alliances are structured, the armaments of the warring parties are increasing to an unprecedented extent, the foci of military confrontations are spreading all over the planet and with them the escalation of sufferings of the working-people’s forces”.

“People are already experiencing the consequences of competition for the sharing of capitalist markets and spheres of influence, energy and commodity transport routes, wealth-producing sources” points out the KKE.

He adds that “the working class and popular strata in our country are already paying the price for the involvement of the Greek capitalist state in the war in Ukraine and the intervention of Israel, for the expansion of American and NATO bases from one end of the country and the enlargement of military equipment, while at the same time due to the previous ones Greece becomes a target of reprisals”.

“Amidst these circumstances and while at the same time a current of questioning of the dominant policy is strengthening within the people, the goal of the 21st Congress of the KKE to become the Party, mind, heart, organizer of the workers’-people’s struggle for socialism becomes imperative, it is a condition in order to provide a way out for the benefit of the working-people’s majority” underlines the announcement and adds:

“The 105th anniversary of the founding of the KKE coincides with the 50th anniversary of the student and worker-popular uprising of the Polytechnic University, which confirms throughout time the KKE’s position on the strength of the worker-popular factor even in the most adverse conditions.

The elaborations of the Central Committee of the KKE, published during this period, intend to contribute in this direction. The publication of the KE of the KKE entitled “Polytechnic November 1973. Inspiration, knowledge and support for the popular uprisings of the future” can be widely distributed to young women and men, students, students, workers. In the next few days, volume C2 of the KKE History Essay, which refers to the history and activity of the Party, during the seven-year military dictatorship 1967-1974, is expected to be released.

In conclusion, the party notes, among other things, in its announcement, that “the drawing of historical lessons and conclusions from the more than one hundred year course of the KKE, from the history of the chains of the class struggle, is a useful resource for strengthening the struggles of the labor-popular forces that are affected from imperialist war, but also imperialist peace with a pistol to the people’s temple, for strengthening the struggle for the overthrow of capitalist power and the conquest of revolutionary workers’ power.

A necessary condition is the development of the forces of the Party and the KNE. We honor the completion of 105 years since the founding of the Party, the struggles, heroism and sacrifices of communists throughout this historical journey, intensifying efforts so that hundreds of pioneers, workers, rural life fighters, young scientists and students to thicken our lines”.
