Today’s nationwide meeting of the Ahtsioglu group is considered particularly critical for SYRIZA as they are expected to decide whether or not to remain in the party

The “6+6” meeting is scheduled for today, Sunday at 11 am and will take place via zoom. Whatever decision is made will either be announced today or in the next few days.

It is estimated that more than 1,000 people will participate online in the nationwide conference.

The meeting is taking place after the crisis in SYRIZA continues with the party appearing completely divided after the election of Stefanos Kasselakis. The departures of executives are continuous as are the fights between the MPs of the party.

The last conflict between SYRIZA executives was the one that broke out in the early hours between Pavlos Polakis and Sia Anagnostopoulos.

The Member of Parliament of Chania and Coordinator of the parliamentary work, Pavlos Polakis, with his post on Facebook, responded to what the SYRIZA MP had said against him a few days ago in a TV show that she herself cannot assume the position of coordinator in the party while he is also a super-coordinator was also the main reason why he did not accept the same position of responsibility in K.O. of the party. The post of Pavlos Polakis is accompanied by publications with statements by Sia Anagnostopoulos against him as well as what he himself had written in 2022 on the subject.
