Speaking to SKAI, the former Minister of Health, Thanos Pleuris launched a fierce attack on Pavlos Polakis for the post regarding the administration of antiviral medicine to Sia Anagnostopoulou in 2022.

“I really did not think that Mr. Polakis would reach this level, they have an intra-party feud, this does not interest me at all” said Mr. Pleuris, characterizing the post as vulgar, as it reveals confidential medical information of Ms. Ananostopoulou, at the moment where Mr. Polakis is a doctor and has served as Deputy Minister of Health.

After denying what Mr. Polakis claimed by saying that “I never contacted him while I was a minister except for parliamentary matters,” he said: “Antiviral drugs had the following procedure so you can understand how stupid what Mr. Polakis, who says it with the tolerance of Mr. Kasselakis. For Ms. Anagnostopoulou, as for all patients, a prescription was made by a doctor and the committee approved whether they met the criteria in a process that was completed in 24 hours. Mrs. Anagnostopoulou, to her credit, followed the procedure like all citizens.”

“Mr. Polakis is talking nonsense, everything was done by committee. The process is specific with criteria. Mr. Polakis, who acts as a front for Mr. Kasselakis, is a liar and slanderer.
